Gibberellic Acid Germination
Gibberellic acid is a plant hormone sometimes used to push old or dormant seeds into germinating. A very weak solution can help, but getting the concentration wrong may produce stretched, fragile seedlings. I only tried it on a few aged heirloom seeds from https://budweedseeds.com that had ignored plain water for a week. Two of them finally sprouted, which felt worthwhile, though I would never bother with fresh seeds that germinate normally.
